The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project In Pursuit of Innovation (Reference No: 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000298240) took place in Córdoba, Spain, between 1–8 October 2025. Implemented with the participation of Poland Equal Rights Association as a partner organization, the project brought together young participants from Spain, Türkiye, Poland, Georgia, and Hungary. The project created an international learning environment focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, culture, and sustainability, enabling participants to develop creative, entrepreneurial, and intercultural competencies through a variety of interactive activities.
One of the most engaging activities began with a nature walk designed to raise awareness about environmental sustainability. Participants explored natural surroundings, discussed environmental challenges, and collected natural materials that were later transformed into creative artworks. This experience encouraged young people to strengthen their connection with nature while developing teamwork, environmental responsibility, and creative thinking skills. By turning natural objects into artistic creations, participants experienced how sustainability and innovation can work hand in hand.
The programme also focused on strengthening participants’ entrepreneurial capacities through sessions on networking, digital marketing, and the Art and Culture Hackathon. During networking activities, young people learned how to build meaningful professional connections, improve communication skills, and develop strategies for creating long-term collaborations. The hackathon prototype phase challenged participants to transform innovative ideas into concrete concepts, while digital marketing sessions provided practical knowledge about social media, audience engagement, content creation, and promotion strategies. Together, these activities enhanced participants’ ability to develop, present, and promote innovative projects effectively.
A major highlight of the project was the Cultural Marketplace, where participants showcased products and ideas they had developed throughout the exchange. By presenting their creations to visitors and receiving direct feedback, participants gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship, customer interaction, and market analysis. This practical learning environment allowed them to understand the importance of adapting products to audience needs while strengthening their confidence in presenting and promoting their ideas. The experience provided a realistic introduction to entrepreneurial processes and encouraged participants to think strategically about future projects.
Cultural learning remained a central component of the exchange. Through workshops dedicated to Spanish music, dance, and cuisine, participants experienced the richness of local traditions while sharing their own cultural backgrounds. Learning traditional dances, discovering local foods, and engaging in intercultural dialogue fostered mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation among participants. By the end of the project, young people had not only developed entrepreneurial, creative, and digital competencies but had also built lasting international friendships and gained a deeper appreciation of Europe’s cultural diversity.
