Poland Equal Rights Association joins international partnership for sustainable future

We are proud to announce that STOWARZYSZENIE POLAND EQUAL RIGHTS ASSOCIATION has become an official partner of the international Erasmus+ project “Promoting Youth Leadership in Forestry and Environmental Entrepreneurship” (Project Reference: 2024-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000254161) coordinated by TMMOB Chamber of Forest Engineers (Turkey).

This inspiring initiative brings together organizations from Turkey, Poland, Latvia, Slovenia, and Spain with a shared vision — to empower young people to become active leaders in sustainable forestry, green innovation, and environmental entrepreneurship.

Project Objectives

The project aims to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to take leadership roles in the forestry and environmental sectors. Its main goals include:

• Providing training and resources to explore career opportunities in sustainable forestry and environmental conservation.

• Fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among youth to address environmental challenges.

• Promoting active citizenship and social entrepreneurship, encouraging community-based environmental initiatives.

Planned Activities

Throughout the project, partners will organize and participate in a variety of activities, including:

• Five international training workshops on sustainable forestry, entrepreneurship, and environmental innovation.

• The Youth Ambassador Program to develop young environmental leaders.

• Networking events, study visits, and international collaboration meetings.

• Development of an online resource center, Youth Guide, and Best Practices Report.

• A dynamic Hackathon to generate creative solutions to environmental issues.

• Dissemination events and a Final Conference to share project results and success stories.

Expected Impact

By the end of the project, participants and partner organizations will have access to valuable outcomes such as:

• A Youth Guide on Sustainable Forestry,

• Educational Workshops in each partner country,

• A Digital Resource Center and Networking Platform,

• The Career Opportunities Roadmap,

• Entrepreneurial Skills Training and Hackathon Results,

• And a Best Practices Report highlighting innovative approaches to youth engagement in sustainability.
